FAQ
AddressGuard Crypto
What does AddressGuard Crypto check?↓
It compares two independently entered public destinations and checks the selected chain, network, asset, destination type, and memo or tag context supported by the app.
Does it connect to my wallet or move funds?↓
No. AddressGuard Crypto never connects a wallet, handles private keys or seed phrases, signs, sends, or broadcasts transactions.
Where does my verification data go?↓
Verification runs on-device. Saved destinations and optional history remain local unless you explicitly share an exported receipt.
Does a pass guarantee that a transfer is safe?↓
No. A pass means the supplied public inputs fit the selected context. It cannot prove ownership, detect every scam, or recover a mistaken transfer.
Why can a valid address still fail?↓
A structurally valid address can still be paired with the wrong network, asset, token variant, receiving service, or memo or destination tag.
