Borderlog Privacy Policy

Local-first by default
Borderlog does not require an account. Passport identity fields are stored in the iOS Keychain. Scanned images, recognized text, travel events, visa records, notification settings, and companion-timeline data are stored in protected files on your device.
What leaves your device
Apple processes App Store purchases. RevenueCat may process device-level purchase and entitlement status when Pro commerce is enabled. Apple's geocoder receives country names when Borderlog resolves map pins. Borderlog does not send passport numbers, scanned pages, OCR text, travel events, visa details, or precise GPS location to SideEye Labs.
Exports and sharing
PDF, CSV, text, calendar, and companion-timeline exports leave the app only when you choose to create or share them. You control the destination. Companion exports are encrypted with a passphrase you provide.
Analytics and tracking
The current app does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, third-party analytics, or a crash-reporting SDK.
Deletion
Delete individual records inside Borderlog or use Clear All Data to remove locally stored app data. Apple and RevenueCat retain purchase records under their own policies.
