Kronik Privacy Policy

Overview
Kronik is a daily diary app. What you post — video, photo, or audio, plus any written entry, tags, and sentiment — is stored under your account so it can render on your permanent grid and, if you choose Public or Circle visibility, be seen by other users. This page covers exactly what Kronik collects and why.
Account Information
Kronik uses Sign in with Apple. We request your name and email address to create and identify your account, and store them tied to your profile. You can request account and data deletion at any time from Settings.
Diary Content
Video, photos, and audio you capture or import, plus any written entry text, tags, and sentiment you add, are uploaded and stored tied to your account. This is the core of the product — your diary — not incidental telemetry. Visibility (Public, Circle, or Private) controls who else can see a given day's content; Kronik's content-lock mechanic freezes a day's bundle 12 noon the day after posting, with a limited earned-amendment exception described in the app.
Social Features
If you post publicly or to your Circle, other users can view your day, react to it, and leave a comment. Reactions and comments you leave on others' days are stored tied to your account. You can report or block another user at any time; reported content enters a moderation review queue.
Purchases
Kronik Pro subscriptions are handled entirely through Apple's App Store / StoreKit. We read your subscription entitlement status to unlock Pro features; Kronik never sees or stores your payment details.
What We Don't Do
Kronik has no third-party advertising SDK, no analytics/tracking SDK, and does not sell or share your data with data brokers. We do not use your data to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Data Storage
Account and diary data is stored with our backend provider (Supabase), access- controlled so only you — and, per your visibility settings, other Kronik users — can read it.
