Safe order
- 1Put towels down and place a bucket under the P-trap.
- 2Cover the overflow opening, add a little water, and plunge straight down for 20-30 seconds.
- 3If it still drains slowly, loosen the P-trap slip nuts and lower the trap into the bucket.
- 4Clear hair or debris, scrub the trap, and check washers for cracks.
- 5Reassemble hand-tight, run water for 60 seconds, and watch each joint for drips.
